President Uhuru Kenyatta has asked Kenyan entrepreneurs to showcase their best during U.S. President Barack Obama’s visit this weekend.
Speaking when he opened the Pre-Global Enterprise Summit (GES) 2015 Expo at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), President Kenyatta said the world focus will be on Kenya and it is only right for Kenyans to take advantage of the global focus.
The Head of State said the summit will be a good exposure for Kenyan entrepreneurs and innovators as it will give them a chance to interact with some of the world’s most successful entrepreneurs.
Kenya was chosen to host the Sixth Global Entrepreneurship Summit which will be co-hosted by U.S. President Barack Obama and his Kenyan counterpart Uhuru Kenyatta on Saturday.
Kenya is now the first sub-saharan African country to host the meeting.
The GES will be a marketplace of ideas for selected entrepreneurs who will have a chance to engage with the best brains in global business, private equity investment and business start-ups
